Dropkick Murphys Announce Five Boston Shows for St. Patrick’s Day Week 2027

Dropkick Murphys have set five Boston shows for March 12-17, 2027. They will close out the band’s St. Patrick’s Day 2027 Tour. MGM Music Hall at Fenway hosts four of the nights, and Citizens House of Blues gets the fifth on St. Patrick’s Day.

The run starts March 12 at MGM Music Hall at Fenway, with Fiddlehead and Wisdom in Chains opening. March 13 brings a 2 p.m. “For The Kids” mini-concert and meet-and-greet. An evening show follows with Home Front, Spiritual Cramp, and Cittizins. On March 14, the band plays a new “In The Round” show at 4 p.m. Brian Fallon, Ben Nichols, and Jesse Ahern join in.

The March 17 show at Citizens House of Blues also has The Amazing Royal Crowns, Red Rockers, Liberty and Justice, and Restraining Order on the bill.

The March 13 matinee is a low-volume show. Money raised goes to the band’s charity, The Claddagh Fund. Any adult with a ticket can bring two kids under 14 at no cost.

Ken Casey started The Claddagh Fund in Boston in 2009, according to Catholic Charities Boston. The fund raises money for nonprofits that help children, military veterans, and people in addiction recovery across Greater Boston and Philadelphia.

The band is on the road to promote its 2025 album For The People and the New England Forever split LP with Haywire, released earlier this year. Its cover of The Pogues’ “The Body of an American” appears on the tribute album 20th Century Paddy – The Songs of Shane MacGowan, due Nov. 13. The band released that track as a single on June 19.

Before the tour, Dropkick Murphys play Vans Warped Tour Orlando on Nov. 14. Then they join Rise Against for shows in Australia and New Zealand from Nov. 21 through Dec. 4. They also played the Oct. 3 Power To The People Festival at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland.

Tour dates and tickets are listed at dropkickmurphys.com/tour.
