Dropout Kings have released the video for “Brace Yourself” as a tribute to their late vocalist, Adam Ramey, who died in May 2025 at 32. The song appears on their 2025 album Yokai, which includes Ramey’s final recordings. The video features old footage of Ramey performing with the band and is available now on YouTube.
The band issued a brief statement about the release. They said music, friendship and purpose brought them together. They talked about healing through making and sharing music, and how fans and fellow musicians become like family. They asked fans to look back with them and remember Adam, calling him their brother and the King who started it all.
