Josh Eppard, the drummer for Coheed and Cambria, has launched a new project called Held. He teamed up with Douglas Robinson and Sal Mignano from the band The Sleeping. Their debut album, titled GREY, is set to release on May 15.
The first single from the album, “NEW YOU ANTHEM,” is available now and features Frank Iero, the guitarist from My Chemical Romance. Iero shared his excitement about the collaboration, saying, “It’s always a pleasure getting to work with new people; it opens doors and makes your brain work in different ways. I’m flattered they wanted to have me on the record, and I think the track turned out super rad.”
This isn’t the first time Iero has worked with members of Coheed and Cambria. He also plays alongside Coheed guitarist Travis Stever in the band L.S. Dunes.
Coheed and Cambria’s latest album is 2025’s The Father of Make Believe. Fans can look forward to more music from Held and the exciting collaborations ahead!
