Thom Yorke is set to release a new solo album in 2026, according to his Radiohead bandmate Ed O’Brien. In a recent podcast, O’Brien mentioned, “Thom’s got a solo album that’s gonna come out later in the year, I think.”
Yorke’s last album, *Tall Tales*, came out in 2025, created with electronic artist Mark Pritchard. He also released a single titled “Dialing In” for the Apple TV series *Smoke*.
O’Brien is also busy with his own music. He will drop his new solo album, *Blue Morpho*, on May 22. This will be his second album, following his 2020 debut, *Earth*.
As for Radiohead, their latest album is still 2016’s *A Moon Shaped Pool*. The band returned to touring in 2025 after a break since 2018. O’Brien has shared that Radiohead plans to perform 20 shows each year on different continents starting in 2027.
