Ed O’Brien says Radiohead plans to perform 20 shows on a different continent each year.

Radiohead is set to take their live shows global, with plans to perform 20 concerts on a different continent each year. Guitarist Ed O’Brien confirmed this exciting news, stating, “What we’re going to do is, every year we’re going to do a different continent, and we’re going to do 20 shows each year.” He emphasized that this plan will kick off in 2027.

O’Brien expressed the band’s commitment to delivering their best at every performance. “We want to give absolutely everything each night,” he said. “We do not ever want it to be like we’re going through the motions.” He acknowledged that they are not as young as they used to be, but they are ready to take on this new challenge.

The announcement comes after Radiohead’s successful comeback tour in late 2025, which featured 20 shows across Europe. This marked their first live performances since 2018. O’Brien admitted that after their last tour, he thought he was done with the band. However, the recent tour reignited his passion for performing. “That tour was very, very emotional, very profound,” he shared. “We all felt that. I feel like I’m the luckiest person on the planet.”

In addition to the band’s plans, O’Brien is also gearing up to release a new solo album titled *Blue Morpho* on May 22. The title track is already available for fans to enjoy. Stay tuned for more updates on Radiohead and O’Brien’s music!
