German electronicore rockers Electric Callboy brought their sold out “TEKKNO World Tour” to Fishtown’s Brooklyn Bowl on Thursday night. The energy from the band and fans alike was palpable! Electric Callboy is touring in support of the 6th studio album TEKKNO, that was released last September via Century Media Records.

The anticipation of this show and tour has been high all year, with every single stop on their entire world tour being sold out, many of which months in advance. Electric Callboy mixes an eclectic array of genres into one ridiculously fun show and experience. They blend such a crazy mix of metalcore, dubstep, techno and pop, and maybe a few other genres as well. They are basically a heavy metal boy band. More heavy metal, than boy band, or are they more boy band than heavy metal? Either way, the show was a ton of fun!

Thursday’s Philly stop for Electric Callboy was the 16th out of 17 very much sold out shows here in the United States. Before 2023 wraps, the band takes their “TEKKNO World Tour” to the United Kingdom and Australia for a series of completely sold-out shows.

What’s also unique and cool about Electric Callboy is that several of their songs are sung in German, and the U.S. crowd sings their songs in German right along with them. We even got a medley of “Let It Go” from the move ‘Frozen’, mashed up with “I Want It That Way” from the Backstreet Boys, which was great!

Electric Callboy has a handful of European tour dates lined up for 2024, with nothing slated for North American just yet. After selling out Brooklyn Bowl to the rafters Thursday night, they most certainly will be in a much bigger venue next time around!
