Empire of the Sun has dropped a new single called “Llego,” featuring Latin star Danny Ocean. It’s the duo’s first-ever collaboration and was recorded for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Frontman Luke Steele says the World Cup and music both bring people together. He calls “Llego” a song about unity and the feeling of home—touching on hope, courage, love, passion, heartbreak and celebration.
The 2026 World Cup wraps up Sunday at the New York/New Jersey stadium. The final will include a halftime show curated by Chris Martin, with performances from Coldplay, Shakira, BTS, Madonna and Justin Bieber.
