Eric Clapton Announces Jeff Beck All-Star Tribute Concerts

Eric Clapton is leading an impressive lineup of musicians taking part in two special tribute concerts honoring Jeff Beck.

Clapton shared via social media, “Sandra Beck and Eric Clapton announce concerts by rock legend friends to honor the memory and artistry of the late Jeff Beck. The concerts will take place at the Royal Albert Hall on the 22nd and 23rd May 2023.”

 

In a listing for the two shows on Royal Albert Hall’s website, the lineup of artists booked for these shows is very impressive. In addition to Clapton, other artists confirmed include Rod Stewart, Billy Gibbons, Gary Clark Jr., Johnny Depp and Robert Randolph. The bill is rounded out with Susan Tedeschi, Derek Trucks, Joss Stone, Doyle Bramhall, Imelda May and John McLaughlin.

Tickets for these shows go on sale to the general public on March 15 at 10 AM GMT/6 AM EDT. Complete details can be found at RoyalAlbertHall.com.

Beck died suddenly in January at age 78 after contracting bacterial meningitis.
