Rising hyperpop singer, songwriter, and producer ericdoa has announced his debut UK and European headline shows, set to take place later this year.
The young star will bring his Things With Wings tour to London, Berlin, Cologne, and Paris this October, following a run of shows across North America.
Tickets for the new dates will go on sale at 10am local time on Wednesday (April 13) and will be available to purchase here.
Before he heads to Europe, Eric will kick off his North American tour in Houston, TX on Friday (April 15). The dates will take him across the States and Canada, concluding in Santa Ana, CA on May 21. He will also appear at festivals this summer including Alabama’s Hangout Festival and Chicago’s Lollapalooza.
The news of the shows follows ericdoa’s latest single, the boisterous and instantly catchy “lifeline.” “Spend all my money on cigarettes and Cognac / C’est la vie, turn the old me to a throwback,” he sings on the surging chorus, capturing the spirit of being young, reckless, and living in the moment.
The video for “lifeline” opens with the young star lying unconscious in a hospital bed surrounded by loved ones. As his EKG starts to flatline the camera zooms in on its screen and it turns into an old-school platform video game, with a pixelated Eric running across the monitor, grabbing coins and trying to avoid winged creatures that zap his lives.
Fans can leap into the music video themselves on Eric’s official website, where the video game can be played. The top 10 players on the leaderboard from the US will win their choice of two tickets to see ericdoa live in concert or an autographed merch item.
“Lifeline” follows recent releases from the artist including March’s “fool4love”, which has racked up nearly 1 million Spotify streams, and “sad4whattt,” which was featured in the highly-acclaimed second season of HBO’s Euphoria. ericdoa’s 2022 singles showcase his development as a boundary-breaking artist since his Interscope Records debut ‘fantasize’, which has amassed more than 23 million global streams.
