Evanescence Announce Upcoming Livestream Concert

Evanescence has joined the growing trend of band’s hosting PPV livestream concerts.

The band announced today (November 16) that “Evanescence: A Live Session From Rock Falcon Studio” will be taking place on Saturday, December 5 at 4 PM ET/1 PM PT. Virtual tickets for the PPV are available now at the “early bird” price of $9.99 at EvanescenceLive.com with the price going up on December 1 leading into the show. A trailer for the show can be seen below.

The show will feature live performances of new tracks from the band’s album The Bitter Truth, which was announced earlier this year.

Evanescence decided to release The Bitter Truth gradually in 2020. The decision to opt for a gradual release as opposed to a more traditional release was made as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. Lee said in a statement, “We are still writing and have a lot more work to do on this album, but this time we wanted to release the songs individually, as we create, to live more in the moment with our fans and our music.”

Among the songs previewed from The Bitter Truth this past year was which featured Lzzy Hale, Taylor Momsen, Sharon den Adel, Lindsey Stirling, Deena Jakoub, Amy McLawhorn and Amy Lee’s sisters Lori Lee Bulloch and Carrie South. It was the third new song Evanescence has released this year following “Wasted On You” and “The Game Is Over.” All three tracks are currently available for streaming and download on all major digital platforms.

“Use My Voice” was used by non-partisan voter registration non-profit HeadCount in a new ad. The band shared the ad via their YouTube channel where they also wrote, “COVID has made everything more challenging this year, including voting, but we can’t let anything stop us from using our voices.
