Evanescence and Halestorm were forced to postpone their show last night (December 12) in Cincinnati due to someone in the Evanescence camp testing positive for COVID-19.

In a statement shared via Twitter, the band wrote, “Our tour has been hit by COVID and we are forced to postpone our show tonight in Cincinnati. We were able to reschedule the show for Monday, Dec. 20th, so hold onto your tickets! Be on the lookout for an email with additional information. Please be safe out there! See you soon.”

The band added, “Even when you have every precaution in place, you can still get and transmit this virus. Grateful we are all vaccinated and nobody’s symptoms are severe. Please be smart and stay safe this season, get the vax, wear a mask, care for one another. We will get through this together.”

Lzzy Hale would go on to share via Instagram, “We are bummed we have to miss the show in Cincinnati tonight! We are locking down for the next two days. Fingers crossed that we can then resume this magical tour. So hang tight! For all of you who are asking: Everyone here in the Halestorm band and crew are safe and negative of Covid and we are sending our good vibes and well wishes to our dear friends in the Evanescence camp! As always thank you to all our fans for understanding.”
