The Korn bandmates performed together for the first time since Arvizu’s 2021 departure from the group.
Reginald “Fieldy” Arvizu and Brian “Head” Welch played together on Sept. 26 at the opening of The Whosoevers’ new headquarters in Boise, Idaho. Joined by P.O.D. and former Flyleaf singer Lacey Sturm, the bassist and guitarist performed P.O.D.’s “Boom” as well as a cover of the Beastie Boys’ “Sabotage.” The event marked the first time the pair performed together since Fieldy left Korn in 2021.
The onstage appearance does not signify an announced return to Korn for Fieldy. The band has continued touring without him and is scheduled to begin a European tour on Oct. 18 in Stuttgart, Germany, running through Nov. 21 in Milan, Italy.
