Five Finger Death Punch and BABYMETAL Achieve Historic No. 1 Chart Performance

Five Finger Death Punch has scored their 13th consecutive No. 1 on the charts with their new song “The End,” featuring BABYMETAL. This marks the 17th chart-topping hit for the Las Vegas metal band, solidifying their record streak in the history of the rankings.

BABYMETAL has made history as the first Japanese act to reach No. 1 on this chart, and they are also the first Asian-based group to achieve this milestone. “The End” jumped to No. 17 on the all-format Rock & Alternative Airplay chart, gaining an impressive 2.5 million audience impressions in just one week.

This successful run began in 2018 with their hit “Sham Pain,” and since then, Five Finger Death Punch has delivered 13 straight No. 1 hits. “The End” is featured on their 2022 album AfterLife, and the band re-recorded it for their recent release, BEST OF (Volume 2).

With 17 total No. 1 hits, Five Finger Death Punch now ranks third on the all-time list. Shinedown leads with 21 chart-toppers, while Three Days Grace follows in second place with 19.

The collaboration with BABYMETAL has helped boost the song’s performance across various charts. The unique blend of Five Finger Death Punch’s heavy rock sound and BABYMETAL’s pop-infused metal has attracted a wide audience.

Both bands continue to create new music and tour. The BEST OF (Volume 2) compilation features re-recorded versions of fan-favorite tracks from their extensive catalog. Keep an eye out for more updates from these powerhouse bands!
