Five Finger Death Punch and BABYMETAL’s song ‘The End’ reaches the top spot on the ‘Billboard’ Mainstream Rock Airplay chart.

Five Finger Death Punch’s new single “The End,” featuring BABYMETAL, has climbed to #1 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay chart. This marks the Las Vegas band’s 17th chart-topping hit, including an impressive streak of 13 in a row. BABYMETAL also makes history as the first Japanese act to reach the top spot.

Guitarist Zoltan Bathory shared that “The End” reflects his unique approach to songwriting. He describes it as creating a soundtrack for a movie playing in his mind. For this track, he envisioned a samurai battle, which made him think of BABYMETAL right away. “They could do it in Japanese,” he said.

SU-METAL, the vocalist of BABYMETAL, brings a fresh sound to “The End.” Bathory noted how she adapted her singing style specifically for the song. “She found a way to use her voice that fits perfectly,” he explained. Fans have also commented on her new vocal approach, saying they’ve never heard her sing like this before.

Bathory and his bandmates were thrilled with BABYMETAL’s contribution, stating they had no feedback or changes to suggest, which is rare in collaborations. “We just got the tracks and thought, ‘Yeah, perfect,'” he said.

“The End” is part of Five Finger Death Punch’s new compilation, *Best Of – Volume 2*, which features re-recorded versions of some of their biggest hits.
