Five Finger Death Punch has released *Best Of – Volume 1* on July 18, 2025. This album features fresh takes on 14 of their biggest hits. The decision to re-record these songs came after their previous label sold their master recordings without any notice. Guitarist Zoltan Bathory expressed disappointment, saying, “We would have loved to have a shot at reclaiming our masters, or at least to be involved in the transaction but we found out after the fact.”
Fans can look forward to new versions of classics like “The Bleeding,” “Wrong Side of Heaven,” and their cover of “Bad Company.” The album also features guest vocals from Maria Brink of In This Moment on the track “I Refuse.” Bathory noted, “For this to work, we have to have an extremely loyal fanbase, which we just happen to have. They understand our situation and will follow us.”
In addition to the re-recorded hits, the band included three live tracks: “Trouble,” “Welcome to the Circus,” and a raw version of “The Bleeding.” A chance encounter with Lars Ulrich at a European show led to an exciting opportunity. Bathory shared, “Very shortly after we got the call that said, ‘Hey, if you guys wanna jump on this 2-3 years excursion, then we would love to have you.’” Now, they are set to open for Metallica on their M72 World Tour.
Fans can find *Best Of – Volume 1* available on standard CD, a special Walmart edition, and various vinyl pressings. The band is also selling exclusive 20th-anniversary merchandise.
