Five Finger Death Punch has released “Best Of – Volume 2” through Better Noise Music as part of their 20th anniversary celebration. This new collection comes after the band decided to re-record their songs when their previous label sold the original masters without their knowledge.
“Best Of – Volume 2” features 16 re-recorded tracks along with three live recordings. Some of the standout songs include fan favorites, each with fresh arrangements. This release follows “Best Of – Volume 1,” completing the two-part set.
One of the highlights is a new version of a track featuring Babymetal. SU-METAL from Babymetal wrote Japanese lyrics based on the original song. She described the moment when her vocals blended with Ivan Moody’s growl during the bridge as powerful and filled with raw energy, a feeling she had never experienced before in any recording session.
Five Finger Death Punch has achieved over 13 billion streams and has 17 number-one singles on Active Rock Radio. This re-recording project allows the band to own the recordings that have shaped their career. Instead of simply remastering old tracks, they created new versions that bring a fresh sound.
“Best Of – Volume 2” is available on all major streaming platforms. Fans can also find it on CD and vinyl, including exclusive collector’s editions. Be sure to check it out!
