Calling all Pearl Jam and Flyers fans. Are you listening? Because you’re going to want to hear this. We all know the Flyers are no stranger to themed games, and they are stoked to announce their upcoming Pearl Jam Night. The game will feature the Flyers facing off against the Canadiens on Tuesday, March 28th.
You might be sitting there wondering, why are my two favorite things colliding right now? You’re in luck, because we have the answer. The night is set to celebrate the ten sellouts the band has performed in South Philly through the years. Those who purchase tickets through the special ticket package link will receive a free “Gritman/Stickman” t-shirt at the game, and let’s be real- who doesn’t love free stuff?
Along with your ticket to the game, you will also have access to watch the ultimate Pearl Jam tribute band, The Ledbetters, perform the classics that will throw you back to your flannel wearing days and wishing you were back in your youth again
The night is a combined collaboration between the Flyers and Ten Club. The Ten Club was born from the remains of the Mother Love Bone Earth Affair – a fan organization started by Pearl Jam in 1990 as a way for the band to give back to their fans. Through the years, it has grown to become a community dedicated to everything surrounding Pearl Jam’s music.
To top the night off, all fans in attendance will have the opportunity to take a photo with the Pearl Jam sellouts banner, which will be in the main concourse, and can sign up for a drawing to win an exclusive autographed poster from Pearl Jam themselves!
The Ledbetters performance will begin at 6:30pm, with puck drop at 7pm. Tickets for the game are available through this special link.
