Foo Fighters Cancel Abu Dhabi Show Due to ‘Unforeseen Medical Circumstances’

Foo Fighters were forced to cancel a show scheduled at the Formula One race in Abu Dhabi due to “unforeseen medical circumstances.”

Per the Associated Press (AP), the organizers of the concert announced this news in a statement yesterday (December 12.) The AP noted, “Emirati state-linked newspaper The National quoted concert promoter John Lickrish as saying that a member of the band was rushed to a hospital from an airport in Chicago, where the band stopped on the way to Abu Dhabi. He didn’t elaborate on what happened but said the band managers had called him to cancel.”

Foo Fighters have yet to issue a statement detailing this medical incident and who was taken to the hospital.

Whatever the medical circumstance and the affected party, we send best wishes for a speedy recovery.
