School photos of rock stars are always a fun look at musicians in their formative years. This school photo of Foo Fighters guitarist Chris Shiflett is no exception.
The photo started making the rounds on Twitter yesterday (January 19) from user @davygroltonband. They captioned the photo, “And the award for the most righteous school picture goes to Mr. Chris Shiflett!!” They added, “Like seriously this is hands down the most awesome class pic I’ve ever seen, need to find a Randy shirt like that asap.”
Shiflett, himself, caught wind of the tweet. He retweeted it and added, “FYI – the full text of that shirt was ‘randy rhoads is god’ and I had it made at a mall kiosk. ah the good ole days…” (Semi-related note: That hair is bitchin’!)
