Hansen replaces John Corabi as the band releases single “Lift Me Up” ahead of a planned 2027 album and tour.
The Dead Daisies have officially named former Foreigner singer Kelly Hansen as their new lead vocalist following the departure of John Corabi in July. Hansen joins a lineup featuring founder David Lowy, guitarist Doug Aldrich, drummer Tommy Clufetos, and new bassist Jimi Crutchley. The move reunites Hansen with Aldrich, who previously performed together in the 1990s group Hurricane.
Hansen, who fronted Foreigner from 2005 to 2025, makes his debut with the group on their new single “Lift Me Up.” The Dead Daisies are currently working on a new studio album expected to arrive in 2027, which will be supported by an extensive 2027 tour spanning Europe, the U.K., the United States, and Scandinavia.
