The musician expressed his desire to rejoin the band for their upcoming tour dates after missing out on the 2025 reunion.
Former Oasis drummer Zak Starkey is campaigning to perform on the upcoming Oasis Live ’27 tour. Starkey, who played drums for the group from 2004 to 2008 and is the son of Beatle Sir Ringo Starr, posted a clip on Instagram of himself playing drums to an unreleased Liam Gallagher track with the caption, “My money’s on this dude for O LIVE 27.” Starkey confirmed he previously held discussions with Noel Gallagher regarding the Oasis Live ’25 tour but could not commit due to his commitments with The Who, leading the band to select Joey Waronker for those dates.
The planned Oasis Live ’27 tour begins between May 21 and May 29 with five nights at Celtic Park in Glasgow, followed by 11 nights at Etihad Stadium in Manchester. In July, the tour moves to Europe for two-night stints in Munich, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Paris, and Rome, before heading to the United States for three nights at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, and three nights at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Additional scheduled stops include two nights at Slane Castle in Ireland and a return to Knebworth.
