Matt Cameron, the former drummer of Pearl Jam, is hitting the stage again. He has announced a concert with his side project, Is This Real?, which started as a tribute to the band Wipers. The show is set for September 13 at The Triple Door in Seattle.
Joining Cameron on the bill is Hiro Yamamoto, the original bassist for Soundgarden, who has played alongside Cameron in the past.
Earlier this July, Cameron revealed that he had left Pearl Jam after 27 years with the band. He made it clear that even though he’s no longer with Pearl Jam, he is still an active musician.
Both Cameron and Yamamoto will be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as members of Soundgarden this November.
