Four Iconic Ringo Starr Albums Set for Color Vinyl Reissues

Ringo Starr’s first four solo albums are getting reissued on special colored vinyl. The albums include:

– Sentimental Journey (1970) on Buttermilk Yellow vinyl
– Beaucoups Of Blues (1970) on Baby Blue vinyl
– Ringo (1973) on Molten Lava vinyl
– Goodnight Vienna (1974) on Psychedelic Waves vinyl

Sentimental Journey is Ringo’s debut album and features the classic title track along with 11 covers from the Great American Songbook. It reflects his childhood memories of singing with family. Produced by George Martin, Ringo suggested they “take a sentimental journey.”

Next up was Beaucoups Of Blues, released in the same year. This album was recorded in just two days in Nashville and produced by Pete Drake. It includes the catchy title track and 11 original country songs in Ringo’s unique style.

Three years later, Ringo released his self-titled album, Ringo. This album is often seen as his best work. Produced by Richard Perry, it features contributions from all his former bandmates and includes hits like “Photograph,” “I’m The Greatest,” and “Oh, My My.” The new edition comes with the original 24-page booklet in a gatefold jacket.

On Goodnight Vienna, Ringo collaborated with legends like John Lennon, Elton John, and Billy Preston. This album features the title track and popular songs like “No-No Song” and “Only You (And You Alone).”

In a recent statement, UMe’s President & CEO praised Ringo for his impact on music and his mission of spreading peace and love.

In other news, Ringo just finished a successful tour with his All-Star band, which started in Chicago and wrapped up in Las Vegas. You can now order Ringo Starr’s first four solo LPs on vinyl!
