Fozzy guitarist Rich Ward has announced that the band will release their next single in March. Instead of putting out full albums, they plan to focus on releasing tracks one at a time. Ward shared that they are currently working on a new song, with lead singer Chris Jericho recording the vocals just last week. “It’ll probably be released in March,” Ward said.
This shift to singles comes after the band’s 2022 album, *Boombox*, where only a couple of songs received attention. Ward noted that Jericho was disappointed because the music industry has changed. “We’re not in the age of albums anymore. It’s all about playlists and streaming now,” he explained. This new approach allows the band to concentrate on perfecting each song.
Ward also mentioned that creating a full album requires the band to spend about two months together, which is tough since Jericho is busy with multiple projects. At 57, Ward feels his songwriting has evolved. “When I was in my twenties with Stuck Mojo, it was a more instinctive process. Now, it’s more intellectual,” he said.
Fozzy recently released “Fall In Line” in April 2025, following their October 2023 single. Both tracks were produced by Johnny Andrews, who has worked with bands like Three Days Grace and Halestorm.
The band is gearing up for a U.K. tour and has announced the Twisted Faith Tour 2026, which will include performances at the Welcome To Rockville and Sonic Temple festivals. Flaw, Spineshank, and Who On Earth will join them on select dates. Tickets are available at FozzyRock.com.
