From Ashes to New is making waves on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay chart with their latest single, “Drag Me,” which has climbed to #7. This marks the band’s seventh top-10 hit in this category. Vocalist Danny Case shared that the band was surprised when their label suggested releasing “Drag Me” as a single. “In the past, there’s no way that song would fly,” he said, noting its rap verses and intense bridge. “It’s incredible to watch it succeed.”
Case expressed gratitude for the opportunity, saying, “It’s awesome.” The band previously reached #2 on the Mainstream Rock Airplay chart with their song “Barely Breathing.” While they don’t focus on chart positions while creating music, they are excited when a song gains traction. “We always hope for a #1 if we can get one,” Case added.
“Drag Me” will be featured on their upcoming album, Reflections, set to release on April 17. The band will kick off a tour with Black Veil Brides on April 25, followed by a summer tour with Shinedown in July. Fans can look forward to more great music and live performances from From Ashes to New!
