Gary Clark Jr Headlines Musikfest

Gary Clark Jr took the the Steel Stage to headline the 6th night of Musikfest in Bethlehem, PA on August 8, 2018.  Supporting him was Jeremiah Tall, a PA native and NYC’s Fiona Silver.  He opened his set with ‘Catfish Blues’ a Robert Petway cover, then got into his Grammy nominated single “Ain’t Messing Around” of of his debut album “Blak and Blu.”  Clark Jr really shined while playing ‘Travis Country’ a fast paced jam.    He showed that he is one of the best guitarist of our time when he played the almost 11 minute long 60’s throwback “When My Train Pulls In.”  Clark finshed his 15 song set with a cover of the Beatles’ “Come Together” which had the Musikfest crowd belting out every word.
