Geezer Butler Had a Sweet Reason for Attending a Taylor Swift Show

Geezer Butler? At a Taylor Swift show?! On the surface, it makes no sense, but the Black Sabbath bassist had a very sweet reason for going.

Butler shared a photo from the concert to Instagram featuring himself, his wife Gloria and four of their grandchildren. He captioned the photo, “Night out @taylorswift #grandkids #gloriabutler.”

As expected, the comment section of the post was a riot. Considering the controversy around the ticket sale for Swift’s tour, one fan asked, “What did you have to do to get tickets?” Another fan wrote, “Taylor should be honored to have you there.” One fan couldn’t get over how cool it was to see Butler playing grandad writing, “Grandpa, probably the best bass player ever born, took his grandkids out for a gig. Just f-ckin’ amazing, innit?”
