The Scorpions are celebrating their 60th anniversary with the release of *From the First Sting*, a 16-track collection, on September 26. This album features a mix of classic hits and new songs. Fans can look forward to hearing favorites like “Rock You Like a Hurricane” and “Wind of Change,” along with two new tracks, including “This Is My Song.” There’s also a special version of “Still Loving You” featuring British violinist Vanessa Mae.
Following this release, the band will drop another album with the same name a couple of months later. They announced on Instagram that the live album from their 60th anniversary concert will be out on November 14, 2025.
The Scorpions are also set to rock Planet Hollywood with a special residency. They kick off their five shows on August 14 at PH Live, titled *Scorpions — Coming Home to Las Vegas 60th Anniversary Residency*.
Originally scheduled for spring, the shows were postponed due to drummer Mikkey Dee needing time to recover from medical issues.
Fans can find CDs and vinyl versions of the new album in U.S. music stores. International markets will have additional options, including a two-CD set, a two-LP set, and a deluxe edition featuring both formats.
For those eager to catch the band live, the tour schedule, album details, and concert tickets are available through major vendors. The Scorpions have made a lasting impact on music, especially in the 1980s and 1990s, and they continue to push forward. After 60 years, their ability to blend classic anthems with fresh material shows they’re not slowing down anytime soon.
