Alabama Shakes have released a new song called “Garden.” It’s from their upcoming album I Must Be Dreaming. In the chorus, singer Brittany Howard sings, “If you don’t water your garden I will / If you don’t show her you love her I will.” A lyric video for “Garden” is on YouTube.
I Must Be Dreaming comes out Aug. 28. The album also includes previously released songs “Another Life,” “American Dream” and “I Feel Hope Coming.” This is the band’s first album since 2015’s Sound & Color. They took a long break after that and returned in late 2024.
Alabama Shakes will restart their U.S. summer tour on Aug. 21 in Highland Park, Illinois. Fans can expect more new music and live shows soon.
