Godsmack Plays 15-Song Set in Idaho Falls on Rise of Rock World Tour 2026

Godsmack played 15 songs at the Mountain America Center in Idaho Falls on Oct. 10, part of the Rise of Rock World Tour 2026, to a nearly sold-out crowd. Dorothy opened the night with an eight-song set.

During “Something Different,” Erna asked women in the crowd to climb onto the shoulders of the men near them, according to a KNAC review. He also picked out Section 111 for its loud response. Later, he pulled five-year-old David onto the stage to help sing “Whatever.”

For the encore, Erna and guitarist Sam Koltun came back with an acoustic take on “Under Your Scars.” The song paid tribute to people lost in their personal lives and in music. Erna urged fans to wear their scars with pride and to snap a picture of the details about The Scars Foundation.

The foundation gives people tools to share the battle scars from their lives. It focuses on mental health struggles such as anxiety, depression, trauma, suicidal thoughts, and PTSD.

Godsmack started in Lawrence, Massachusetts, in 1995. The band released its self-titled debut album in 1998. Its albums include Awake, Faceless, and IV, and some of their biggest songs are “Whatever,” “Voodoo,” “Awake,” “I Stand Alone,” and “Serenity.”

This year’s touring lineup has Erna on lead vocals and guitar, Robbie Merrill on bass, Koltun on guitar, and Mangini on drums. Mangini, once with Dream Theater, joined in June after drummer Wade Murff left.

Dorothy started in Los Angeles in 2014 around singer Dorothy Martin. The band released its debut album, Rockisdead, in 2016. Its other albums include 28 Days in the Valley, Gifts from the Holy Ghost, and 2025’s The Way. Nick Perri, Eliot Lorango, and Jake Hayden join Martin on the road.

Fans can find all remaining dates of this year’s tour on Godsmack’s official website.
