Godsmack Releases Two Vinyl Editions of ‘1000HP’ Album Featuring Bonus Tracks

Universal Music has released new vinyl pressings of Godsmack’s album *1000HP* on August 8. This special edition includes two bonus tracks and features unique artwork. The black vinyl follows the classic U.S. cover and contains 10 remastered songs. Meanwhile, the colored vinyl version comes with a special 7-inch disc that includes the tracks “Inside Yourself” and “Life Is Good.” This is the first time “Life Is Good” has been available on vinyl.

Revolver magazine praised the album, saying, “Pushing their boundaries…with *1000HP*, Godsmack offer up a few new sounds while staying true to their musical mission.” The album originally debuted at number three on Billboard’s Top 200 chart in 2014. Producer Dave Fortman mixed the tracks, which include hits like “1000hp,” “Something Different,” and “What’s Next.”

Fans outside the U.S. will recognize the artwork on the colored vinyl, as it features the international cover art now available in the U.S. Both vinyl versions can be purchased on the band’s official website. This release follows the March reissue of *The Oracle*.

Godsmack was formed in Boston in 1992 and includes Sully Erna on vocals and guitar, Robbie Merrill on bass, Tony Rombola on lead guitar, and Shannon Larkin on drums. After releasing “Lighting Up The Sky” in 2023, fans can now grab both versions of *1000HP* vinyl. Don’t miss out on adding these to your collection!
