Sully Erna, founder and frontman of Godsmack, will present The Scars Foundation Celebrity Jam on Thursday, Dec. 10, 2026. The one-night benefit concert supports mental health, suicide prevention, and addiction awareness. It takes place at Hard Rock Live at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood in Hollywood, Florida, according to a post shared by Godsmack.
Godsmack headlines. David Draiman of Disturbed, Nuno Bettencourt of Extreme, Brad Whitford of Aerosmith, and members of Staind and Three Days Grace will make special appearances, and organizers plan to announce more artists and guests later.
The night centers on The Scars Foundation’s “Music Heals” message and will include special collaborations. Money raised will back the foundation’s work to cut the stigma around mental health, help stop suicide, fight addiction, and let people in emotional pain ask for help without fear, judgment, or shame.
“The Scars Foundation was built around a simple truth: None of us should have to carry our pain alone,” Erna said in the post by Godsmack. “After losing many friends and fellow artists to addiction and suicide, I knew I had to use my platform to help. Music gives people a place to feel understood, even in their darkest moments. On Dec. 10, we will stand together, share our stories and remind people that their lives and voices matter. Music heals, and when we use it to lift one another, it can help save lives.”
Erna started the foundation after suicide took friends and fellow artists from him, according to the organization’s official website. His goal is to change the way people think about mental health. The group backs people who face abuse, mental illness, disability, bullying, and addiction. He believes scars come in many shapes, physical and emotional alike. The foundation asks people to own their stories, speak openly, and wear their scars with pride.
Godsmack has landed 13 No. 1 singles on mainstream rock radio, according to Billboard. No other artist at the format has more Top 10 singles since 1999. The band has 27. It also holds four GRAMMY nominations and a Billboard Music Award for Rock Artist of the Year, and it has sold more than 20 million records worldwide.
Its eighth studio album, Lighting Up the Sky, arrived in 2023. Godsmack reissued Awake and released the live album Live At Mohegan Sun on May 1. Right now, the band is on its Rise of Rock World Tour with Dorothy.
As for the December event, tickets went on sale to the public starting on Tuesday, Oct. 13, through Ticketmaster and Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood. Find ticket details on the band’s website. Can’t make it? Fans can still give to The Scars Foundation at Scarsfoundation.org.
