Gojira is bringing an extra guitar player for their homecoming tour in France. Frontman Joe Duplantier recently shared on Instagram that he hurt his hand and had minor surgery. He said, “I’m on the mend, but I won’t be able to play all my guitar parts on the next tour.”
To help out, Gojira has hired their good friend Greg Kubacki from the band Car Bomb. Duplantier added, “The mood in our camp is high as we’re getting ready for an exciting experience on our own turf. The show must go on!”
Gojira’s tour in France kicks off this Thursday and runs until mid-December. After that, they will be touring Europe in 2026 as the opening act for Metallica. Fans can look forward to an unforgettable experience with the band!
