The updated 2014 release features new collaborations and live material ahead of the band’s European and UK tour.
Good Charlotte will reissue the album Greetings From California on Nov. 6 through MDDN/Atlantic. Originally released in 2014 by Joel and Benji Madden as The Madden Brothers, the re-packaged record expands the original 15-song tracklist with three bonus tracks. The new material includes “U R” featuring eight-time GRAMMY Award winner Ziggy Marley, a version of “Jealousy (All Your Friends In Silverlake)” featuring Eyedress, and a live recording of “We Are Done” from the Motel Du Cap Tour. The original album was produced in two halves by Eric Valentine and Joe Chiccarelli.
The announcement comes as the band—comprising Joel Madden, Benji Madden, Paul Thomas, and Billy Martin—prepares for their Motel Du Cap EU/UK Tour, which begins Nov. 8 at Hovet in Stockholm with special guests Yellowcard and opener Grave Secrets. Last year, Good Charlotte released Motel Du Cap, their first album in seven years, featuring the single “Rejects,” which reached No. 7 on the Top 10 Alt Radio Singles Chart.
