British indie duo Good Neighbours has just released their debut album, *Blue Sky Mentality*. The album features 14 tracks and is available on all streaming platforms, as well as on vinyl.
The band describes *Blue Sky Mentality* as their motto since the beginning. They started the band as a way to escape tough jobs and personal challenges. Over the past year, they wrote the album while touring, creating music in tour buses, hotel rooms, and various locations around the world. “Finding light, friendship, and a sense of escapism wherever you are” is what this motto means to them.
Before the album launch, Good Neighbours released several singles, including their latest, “People Need People.” This song reflects their early struggles before fame. “When we started, we were juggling jobs and trying to stay afloat. Thankfully, we had a great group of friends who supported us through tough times,” they shared. Other singles include “found u/me” and “Suburbs.”
The duo has been busy touring throughout summer 2025 and will continue into the fall. They will perform at the Austin City Limits festival this weekend and return for the second weekend. Their U.S. tour will cover major cities and wrap up at El Rey in Los Angeles in mid-November. They have also supported big acts like Benson Boone, Mumford and Sons, The Lumineers, and Foster the People. Earlier this year, they were nominated for a Brit Award for Rising Star.
