A mac and cheese company has recalled two of its products after discovering they contain undisclosed milk and cashew ingredients. This has led to eight allergic reactions among customers. The affected products are “Vegan is Believin’ — Plant Based White Cheddar with Spirals,” which has milk, and “Here Comes Truffle – Creamy Truffle Flavored Cheddar and Shells,” which contains cashews. The truffle version caused six reactions, while the vegan one led to two.
These products were made between April 7 and April 15, 2025, and sold across the U.S. from April 29 to August 5, 2025, through various retailers, including wholesalers and online orders. If you have any of these products, return them to the store for a full refund. For questions, you can reach the company’s customer service at 1-888-610-2341.
Goodles, the company behind these mac and cheese dishes, launched in 2021 with Jen Zeszut and Wonder Woman actress Gal Gadot. They created a special recipe using wheat, chickpeas, and vegetable powder for extra nutrition during the 2020 lockdowns. A group called “do gooders” even tried early samples before the official launch. Goodles has grown from online sales to being available in major stores like Target and Whole Foods. They market their products as healthier than regular boxed mac and cheese. This recall marks the first major safety issue for the California-based company since its start.
