Green Day is playing another “surprise” show. This time around, the band is heading overseas.

Green Day shared via social media, “SURPRISE! We decided to hop on a plane and play a show in Paris. See you this Saturday, 4th November, at Bataclan!!! Tickets go on sale tomorrow 31 October, at 10am CET https://bit.ly/GreenDay-AEG23. 2 tickets per person. Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. See you soon!! p.s. we’ll be seeing some more of you in other cities very soon [winking emoji].”

As previously reported, the band played a surprise club show in Las Vegas on Oct. 19, just days before headlining the When We Were Young festival. At that show, Green Day performed their new single, “The American Dream is Killing Me.”

In a statement on the song, Billie Joe Armstrong said, “As soon we cut it, we said, ‘Okay, that’s going first,’” He further noted the track is “a look at the way the traditional American Dream doesn’t work for a lot of people — in fact, it’s hurting a lot of people.”

Additionally, Armstrong also unveiled details about the band’s stadium tour planned for 2024. While dates haven’t been revealed yet, the bands Green Day is bringing out with them include Smashing Pumpkins, Rancid and the Linda Lindas.

Following their performance in Paris, Green Day will head to Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. On Nov. 19, the band will headline the Twisted Tea Grey Cup Halftime Show for the Canadian Football League’s 110th Grey Cup at Tim Hortons Field.
