Guitarist Jake Kiszka shares details on the band’s latest record, studio gear, and future plans
Greta Van Fleet has officially released its fourth album, Palace for the People, through Lava/Republic. Produced by Mike Elizondo, the record takes its title from north London’s Alexandra Palace. In an interview with Guitar World, guitarist Jake Kiszka detailed the album’s eclectic influences, studio equipment—ranging from a 1961 Gibson Les Paul SG to a classical nylon-string guitar—and song development with his brother and bandmate, Sam Kiszka.
Formed in Frankenmuth, Michigan, the band features brothers Jake, Sam, and Josh Kiszka alongside Danny Wagner. Kiszka also addressed online criticism and rumors of a potential breakup, clarifying that the group has surprises planned for the year ahead.
