Greta Van Fleet released their new single “Tear It Down” on Sept. 18. It marks the third track released from their forthcoming 13-track studio album, Palace For The People, which arrives Oct. 9 via Republic Records following earlier singles “Play Your Games” and “Saw You Stand.” Recorded in Tennessee, the album was co-produced by the band alongside Mike Elizondo.
The album’s title was inspired by a 2022 performance at London’s Alexandra Palace, referencing the venue’s historical designation as “The Palace Of The People.” Formed in Frankenmuth, Michigan, in 2012, the group consists of singer Josh Kiszka, guitarist Jake Kiszka, bassist/keyboardist Sam Kiszka, and drummer Danny Wagner. Palace For The People follows their 2023 release, Starcatcher.
