Chris Stapleton surprised fans at Guns N’ Roses’ Toronto show Wednesday night. He joined Axl Rose and the band onstage to sing their cover of Bob Dylan’s “Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door,” from 1991’s Use Your Illusion II. Stapleton sang backup and played guitar during the nine-minute performance. Photos of the collaboration appeared on GN’R’s Instagram Story. Stapleton is set to headline Rogers Stadium on Thursday. Guns N’ Roses resume their tour Saturday in Shakopee, Minnesota.
