Gwen Stefani Announces Release Date Of New Album, ‘Bouquet’ Hannah Zwick

Gwen Stefani is one of the most recognizable names in music. Now, twenty years after her first solo album, she has announced her fifth record, Bouquet, will be available on November 15th. It’ll be the first album from Stefani in seven years.

The singer took to Instagram to share the news alongside the album’s 70s-inspired cover, which features Stefani lounging in a cowboy hat and plaid suit while holding a single peony. In a nod to the title, she wrote that the album “will be in full bloom” upon its release.

She also shared that the record’s first single, “Somebody Else’s” will be released this week. In addition to the single, the track list includes the title track “Bouquet,” followed by “Pretty,” “Empty Vase,” “Marigolds” “Late To Bloom,” “Swallow My Tears,” “Reminders,” and “All Your Fault,” before closing out with “Purple Irises,” featuring country superstar/husband Blake Shelton.

The album is available to pre-order in a number of formats, including a limited edition sky blue vinyl with alternate cover art; this one a black & white shot from the same set. The record is also available as a digital album or CD.

The last solo record Stefani released was 2017’s holiday album You Make It Feel Like Christmas. Her three other records are 2004’s breakout Love. Angel. Music. Baby, 2006’s The Sweet Escape, and 2016’s This Is What the Truth Feels Like.

Back in April, Stefani and No Doubt ended a decade-long hiatus when they headlined Coachella. They were joined onstage by Olivia Rodrigo, an artist who has clearly been inspired by younger Gwen’s sensibilities, for a performance of their hit “Bathwater.” In Variety’s review of their set, writer Steven J. Horowitz shared, “Stefani is such a magnetic and charismatic frontwoman. Her tone was almost entirely perfect throughout and she didn’t waste a single breath, even when she was ska dancing across from Kanal or bounding across the stage to rouse the crowd.”
