Halestorm is no stranger to covers, but they certainly got ambitious recently at the request of a fan.

The band has been sharing a variety of videos on their YouTube channel as of late showing them covering a variety of songs. One of those songs was the 2015 Adele hit “Hello.” In the clip below, we see Halestorm giving the ballad some rock punch while Lzzy Hale belts the chorus.

The video also features a comment section request from a fan that reads, “Please do ‘Hello’ Adele. I’m curious as to how y’all can put a metal spin on it.

Additionally, Halestorm recently shared other covers while jamming via YouTube. Those covers include Fleetwood Mac’s “The Chain” and Dolly Parton’s “Jolene.”

Halestorm has released three covers EP in their career since 2011. They’ve covered a number of rock artists, including Guns N’ Roses and Soundgarden. However, the band has covered some surprising artists, too. Among those artists are Lady Gaga, Daft Punk and Sophie B. Hawkins.

In the past couple of years, Halestorm have recorded and released a cover of “I Will Always Love You,” which was written by Dolly Parton but made into a pop/R&B smash by Whitney Houston.  The band has also cover The Who’s “Long Live Rock” for the hard rock documentary Long Live Rock…Celebrate the Choas.
