Happy blink-182 Day! July 1 is the 182nd day of the year, and blink-182 are marking it with pop-up shops in three cities. Shops run Wednesday–Friday in Los Angeles, and Wednesday–Thursday in New York City and London. They’ll sell exclusive merch tied to the 25th anniversary of their 2001 album Take Off Your Pants and Jacket. Check blink-182’s Instagram for details.
Blink-182 formed in 1992 with Tom DeLonge (guitar/vocals), Mark Hoppus (bass/vocals) and Scott Raynor (drums). After two albums, Travis Barker replaced Raynor and the band hit it big with 1999’s Enema of the State. They followed with Take Off Your Pants and Jacket (2001) and the untitled 2003 album. The group broke up in 2005, reunited in 2009, and released Neighborhoods in 2011. Tom DeLonge left again in 2015 and was replaced by Matt Skiba from Alkaline Trio. DeLonge rejoined in 2022, and blink released the reunion album ONE MORE TIME… in 2023.
The band is planning a European tour in 2027.
