Hayley Williams and David Byrne Team Up for Netflix’s Animated Adaptation of Roald Dahl’s ‘The Twits’

If you’ve been curious about when Hayley Williams from Paramore and David Byrne from Talking Heads would team up again, the wait is over! They are officially collaborating on Netflix’s animated adaptation of Roald Dahl’s *The Twits*, and we couldn’t be more excited.

Hayley and David are working together on the end credits song for the film. This isn’t their first collaboration; Hayley is featured on David’s album, *Who Is the Sky*, and they’ve covered each other’s songs in the past. In addition to the end credits song titled “Open the Door,” David has also contributed to three other original songs for the movie: “We’re Not Like Ev’ryone Else,” “Lullaby,” and “The Problem Is You,” which will be performed by the cast.

Hayley shared her excitement about the project, saying, “Being a part of this movie is like one pinch-me moment after another. My favorite Roald Dahl book growing up was *The Twits*.” She also credited David for bringing her into this musical adventure. David expressed his enthusiasm as well, stating, “I reached out to Hayley Williams to collaborate on the end credits song. We both agreed that it should remind us that there is heart and connection in the story after all the unpleasantness depicted by Mr. and Mrs. Twit.”

So, what’s *The Twits* about? It tells the story of Jim Twit and Credenza Twit, the meanest couple in the world, who run a terrible amusement park called Twitlandia. But two orphans and their magical animals rise up to save the day. The film features a star-studded voice cast, including Natalie Portman, Emilia Clarke, and Jason Mantzoukas.

*The Twits* is set to premiere on October 17. Get ready for some musical magic!
