Hollywood Undead Unveils New Single Featuring Slayer Sample and Announces Festival Tour

Hollywood Undead has released a new track titled “1×1” on March 11 through Sumerian Records. This song features a riff from Slayer and marks their third release since signing with the label. Matt Good produced the track, blending nu-metal rhythms with rap vocals and that iconic Slayer riff to create a unique sound. The catchy hook goes, “one by one they fall, let the reaper take them all.”

The band describes the song as a message of resilience. They stated, “People are always going to doubt you or try to bring you down, but the point is getting back up every time and reminding them you’re still here, and that you can’t be replaced.” Hollywood Undead has amassed over 3.2 billion streams across various platforms. Their 2008 debut album, Swan Songs, achieved RIAA platinum status, and they have over 1 billion views on YouTube.

Their partnership with Sumerian Records began in October 2024 with the release of “Hollywood Forever,” followed by another track in June 2025. This year, the band will perform at several spring and summer festivals across two continents. They kick off their tour at Welcome To Rockville in Daytona Beach on May 8, and will wrap up their U.S. shows at Rocklahoma in September.

In Europe, they will play at Rock im Park and Rock am Ring in Germany on June 6-7, followed by Nova Rock in Austria on June 14, and Graspop Metal Meeting in Belgium on June 18. They will also perform at Jera On Air in the Netherlands on June 26 and finish the European leg at Vainstream in Germany on June 27.

North American festival appearances include Inkcarceration Festival in Mansfield, Ohio, on July 17, Rock Fest in Cadott, Wisconsin, on July 18, Les Grandes Fêtes TELUS in Rimouski, Quebec, on August 1, and Rock La Cauze in Victoriaville, Quebec, on August 7.
