I Prevail is set to release their fourth album, *Violent Nature*, on September 19. This album features Eric Vanlerberghe as the band’s lead vocalist, marking a significant change in their sound. “I’m really excited for this record to finally be out,” Vanlerberghe shared. “The responses to the singles have been great so far.”
*Violent Nature* includes twelve tracks and is the first album without Brian Burkheiser’s vocals after twelve years. Vanlerberghe now takes on both melodic and intense vocal styles. “This whole record process was about finding the next sound and era of I Prevail, as well as finding my voice,” he explained. “Singing is mostly confidence.”
The band consists of Steve Menoian on lead guitar, Dylan Bowman on rhythm guitar and backup vocals, and Gabe Helguera on drums. They recently wrapped up their Summer of Loud tour, where they performed alongside Parkway Drive, Killswitch Engage, and Beartooth.
Today, September 18, I Prevail will play an intimate show at The Crofoot in Pontiac, Michigan. This venue, which holds 1,100 fans, is special to the band as it hosted their first hometown show a decade ago. We Came As Romans and My Ticket Home will open the show.
Fans can get their hands on *Violent Nature* now, ahead of its worldwide release on Friday through Fearless Records. Don’t miss out on this exciting new chapter for I Prevail!
