The eight-track horror-metal holiday EP arrives November 9, followed by ‘The Silver Scream 3’ in 2027.
Ice Nine Kills has announced a new eight-track EP titled A Very Vicious Christmas, scheduled for release on November 9. Revealed during the band’s Silver Scream Con V in Worcester, Massachusetts, the project gives classic holiday songs a horror-metal makeover. The tracks on the EP were originally created as the musical accompaniment for Universal Studios Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights attraction “Terror Tram Starring Art the Clown.”
Frontman Spencer Charnas noted that the music was tailored for the attraction, thanking Terrifier writer-director Damien Leone and producer Phil Falcone for the collaboration. The tracklist includes holiday standards such as “Carol of the Bells,” “Jingle Bells,” “We Wish You A Merry Christmas,” “O Christmas Tree,” “Joy to the World,” “The Twelve Days of Christmas,” and full-band and orchestral versions of “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies.” Additionally, the band announced the next installment in their horror-inspired album series, The Silver Scream 3: Every Flick in the Book, set to arrive in 2027.
