Philly Hearts Tour & Jesse®

Digital Noise Mag had the privilege of attending Jesse Rutherford‘s I Heart Tour in Philadelphia, Pa. on April 27th at The Foundry. The Neighbourhood’s front man, Jesse, released his second solo album titled GARAGEB& on April 12. Earlier in the year when Jesse announced his solo tour, the fans assumed this meant the end of the Neighbourhood. Fortunately, this is just the beginning; as they are headed on the road again for their own tour as well as music festivals. Until then Jesse is keeping busy with his solo tour. This sound is unlike his original punk-rock style, Jesse created a more electronic-rock/hip-hop mixed with an edgy pop sound with handmade beats. His set was made up of just him and his Rock n’ Roll DJ, a mic and his acoustic guitar. The beautiful sound of the fans singing along to his new tracks such as “Tunnelovision”, “My Ways”, & “Puppy Love” but also singing the fan favorites off of ‘&’ including “Barbie & Ken”, “Bloom Later”, “Born to Be Blonde”.  The headlining tour hitting 20 dates and 19 cities, with support from Goody Grace and Hearts<3
