Oasis’ “Wonderwall” is back on the Billboard Hot 100. The song reentered the chart at No. 27.
The return follows England’s run to the 2026 World Cup semi-finals. “Wonderwall” became the team’s unofficial anthem. England lost 2-1 to Argentina in the semis, then beat France 6-4 to finish third.
“Wonderwall” first hit the Hot 100 in 1996 and peaked at No. 8 after its 1995 release.
Oasis reunited in 2024 after 15 years apart. The band toured huge stadiums worldwide in 2025. A tour documentary called Don’t Look Back in Anger will premiere in theaters on Sept. 11, and then stream on Hulu and Disney+.
