Myles Smith from Luton has opened at No. 2 on the U.K. Official Albums Chart with his debut My Mess, My Heart, My Life, behind Olivia Rodrigo’s album in its second week at No. 1. Smith’s debut is the biggest first-week sales for any new album in the U.K. so far in 2026. The record includes his hits “Stargazing” and “Nice to Meet You,” several recent singles, and new songs — including one he co-wrote with Ed Sheeran. On Instagram he thanked fans for helping the album reach No. 2 and called it “the biggest debut album of 2026.” He also said the best part is coming next week, when he starts his world tour, and promised the shows will bring the songs to life the way they were meant to be heard. In addition to headlining, he’ll join Ed Sheeran for several stadium dates.
